Write to reframeclips@gmail.com. A person reads it. It is one person, so a reply can take a few days.

Before you write

It helps to know which phone you are on, which version of Ṛta, and what you were doing when it went wrong. Ṛta keeps no logs and sends nothing anywhere, so your description is genuinely all there is to go on.

Common questions

How do I change my birth details?

Tap the moon button at the top right to open your profile, then Edit birth data. The reading updates as soon as you save.

My birth place is not on the list

Choose the nearest town instead. Anywhere close by gives the same answer: the place is used only to work out what your birth time means in universal terms, which is a question about the clock your time was written on, not about the exact patch of ground.

I do not know my exact birth time

Choose Approximate and give the rough window. The app takes the middle of that window, which is the Nakṣatra covering most of it. If the window happens to fall across a boundary between two Nakṣatras, and only then, it says so and offers to narrow the time to early, middle or late.

Why does the reading change during the day?

The Pañcāṅga has five limbs and each turns at its own pace, so the moment you are in shifts four to seven times a day. The Future button at the bottom right steps forward through the moments still to come.

My reminders are not arriving

Open your profile and check the Reminders setting: Off, Once a day when your own Nakṣatra turns, or Every change. Quiet hours from 9pm to 8am hold them back overnight when they are on. If the setting looks right and nothing arrives, check that notifications are permitted for Ṛta in your phone's settings, and that battery saving is not stopping the app from scheduling them.

Does it work without a connection?

Yes, all of it. Every calculation, every reading and the whole place list are inside the app, so it behaves identically in flight mode.

Can I see the introduction again?

Tap the ? at the top left, then Replay Guided Tour. The same sheet explains what Ṛta means and how the screen is read.

A reading disagrees with the almanac I use

Ṛta calculates sidereal by default, with the Lahiri ayanāṁśa, and takes positions from the centre of the Earth, which is what classical Pañcāṅga does. The Zodiac system setting on the birth screen switches the whole app between Sidereal and Tropical. If that is set the way you expect and it still disagrees, write in and say which almanac you are comparing against.

How do I delete everything?

Clear the app's data in your phone's settings, or delete the app. Both remove your birth details and every setting for good. Nobody, including us, holds a copy.

Your birth details

They live only on your phone. Deleting the app removes them for good, and nobody, including us, can look them up or restore them. The full account is in the privacy policy, which is the short version of a short story: nothing leaves your phone.
